2-minute AMRAP: Goblet Squat to Target at 40% bodyweight. Your score is total reps. Every rep must touch the target to count.

Target: 20 lb med ball on 25 lb plate

How it works

  1. Set your target: 20 lb medicine ball sitting on top of a 25 lb bumper plate.
  2. Hold a dumbbell in a goblet position (both hands).
  3. For 2:00, complete as many full reps as possible.
  4. Your score is your total reps at the end of 2:00.

Standards (read this or you’ll get no-repped)

  • Touch required: every rep must make clear contact with the medicine ball. No touch = no rep.
  • Full finish: stand to a clear, complete finish each rep (no pulsing, no partials).
  • Start setup: you can pick the DB up from the floor OR start with it resting on a bench or box.
  • Breaks allowed: reps do not have to be unbroken. You may set the DB down anytime and re-grip to continue — clock keeps running.
  • Control: you can move fast, but it has to be real reps. If you’re unsure, slow down and make the touch obvious.

Load rule

  • Use 40% of your bodyweight, rounded to the nearest 5 lb dumbbell.
  • Our DBs go from 5 lb to 85 lb. If your 40% is higher than 85, you use the 85 lb DB.
  • You can get bodyweight from the washroom scale or hop on the InBody quickly.

  • No submitted score by Friday @ 6:00pm = 0 for the event.
  • One submission per person — if multiple entries are submitted, the first one will be used.
