Peak Community Games · Season One

How the Peak Community Games Work

Season One of the Peak Community Games is a 4-week, team-based competition for Peak members. . This season we’re running teams of four, and every team is built with 2 men and 2 women. Teams can include non-members, but they’ll need to purchase a Games Pass or a Peak membership once registration is submitted. Future seasons may feature individuals, pairs, or larger teams, but for Season One it’s all about four-person squads.

Registration

Season One is open to current Peak members, plus non-member friends who join via the Games Pass. You can register in one of two ways:

  • Register a full team of four — with exactly 2 men and 2 women.
  • Sign up solo or as a pair — we’ll act as matchmaker and place you on a team that needs you.

Your teammates can be Peak members or non-members. When you add non-members, just enter their name, email, and phone at registration. Once registration is complete, all four teammates will receive a confirmation email with a button to confirm their spot on the team.

In that email, non-members will receive clear instructions to purchase either a Games Pass or a full Peak membership in order to participate. The Games Pass is $99 + taxes and gives all-access to Peak Fitness for the full Games — classes and open gym during the season — with no onboarding required for Games Pass participants.

At registration, each athlete chooses their own division: Everyday (I’m here for fun, consistency, and good effort) or Challenger (I want to push a bit harder). Your choice only applies to you — it doesn’t change anything for your teammates, and they’ll pick the division that fits their goals. That means a single team can include a mix of Everyday and Challenger athletes. Your division is fixed for the full season. In future seasons we may rotate the format (individuals, pairs, big teams), but in Season One every point you earn counts toward your 4-person squad.

Weekly Individual Events

Each week features one individual challenge. The exact workout is kept secret until it’s released, but you’ll always get:

  • Clear movement standards and demo videos.
  • Everyday and Challenger options so the intent is the same across divisions.
  • The time window when the event must be completed and submitted.

Events are designed to be completed in a short time frame (think “class-friendly” effort), not a full workout.

When & Where You Complete Events

Once the weekly event is released, you’ll have a set window to complete it:

  • Before or after your regular Peak class,
  • During open gym windows, or
  • At designated “Games time” slots on the schedule.

A coach will always be nearby to clarify standards, help choose the right division option, and make sure everyone is moving safely.

Logging Your Scores

After you complete the event, you’ll log your result through a quick online form:

  • Scan the QR code posted in the gym or use the link emailed each week.
  • Enter your time, reps, or weight (depending on the event).
  • Submit before the weekly deadline so your points count toward your team.

The same email you confirm your spot with will also be where we send your weekly event link and submission form. Coaches may verify scores on the floor when needed.

Friday Team Nights

Twice during Season One, we’ll host special Friday Team Nights. These are high-energy, gym-wide events where:

  • Your 4-person team will tackle multiple team-based events in one evening.
  • Attendance and participation can earn bonus points.
  • Cheering, costumes, and team spirit are strongly encouraged.

Think of these nights as the in-person highlight of the Games — more like a party with workouts than a normal class.

Leaderboard & Season Standings

Each week, we’ll update a Season One leaderboard that shows:

  • How teams rank based on their points from individual events and team nights.
  • Top Everyday and Challenger performances for each event.
  • Fun highlights and shout-outs (PRs, big efforts, and great sportsmanship).

Scores accumulate across all four weeks, and at the end of the season we’ll crown our Peak Community Games champions.

Why Join Season One?

If you’re not “in it to win it,” Season One is still for you. The Games give you a way to:

  • Check in on your fitness and see progress in real numbers.
  • Stay motivated through the winter with a short, focused commitment.
  • Hit personal milestones and celebrate them with your team.
  • Connect with members from other class times and feel part of something bigger than a single workout.

Whether you arrive with a full 4-person team or sign up solo and let us place you, Season One is about showing up, doing your best, and being a little stronger (physically and mentally) by the end of the four weeks. And if you’ve got a friend who isn’t a Peak member yet, the Games Pass is their ticket to join your team and experience Peak for the entire season.
